This moment has been a long time coming. Piexe vampiro is finally a published short story! This has to be the most frustrating, disappointing journey of my writing career, so much so that for the longest I called the story “cursed” and labeled it “the kiss of death”. On three separate occasions in the mid-90s/early 2000s, Piexe vampiro was accepted for publication. Each time, the potential publisher went belly-up. Congratulations to Graveside Press for breaking the curse! I am so proud to finally see my boys swim!
