“The Willies” is my first venture into Middle Grade/Young Adult fiction, something I don’t anticipate doing very often. The story revolves around young Katie, a tomboy who is into weird things, and bone collecting in particular. When she purchases a strange, organic mystery item from a Caddo tribe member at a flea market, strange moth-like creatures start following her. What are they? Where are they coming from? And what exactly is this new addition to her bizarre collection? This collection is due out in late 2026 from Graveside Press.
